I love boxes, baskets, cases, tins and cartons of all sizes and shapes. I also love making them.
One day, while I was gathering empty cereal boxes for recycling, I heard Mrs Crafting shouting inside my head: “Blimey! Why are you throwing away these boxes, you silly lass? They're still good if you turn them inside out!”
Her point was good. Regular packaging boxes insides are just like an empty canvas. Clean. Ready to be cut, painted, decorated and assembled back again.
This used to be a dry soya box. Now it is a pen and pencil case!
